In an ongoing Inter Group Cricket tournament of Islamia College Srinagar, ICS Yellows team registered its place in the finals of the tournament.

In the first semi-final of the tournament, ICS Yellows defeated ICS Greens by 6 wickets. After winning the toss, ICS Yellows invited ICS Greens to bat first.

ICS Green scored 192 runs in the allotted 25 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Yamin scored 53 runs in 40 balls and Samiullah scored 27 runs in 18 balls. Athar and Raqib took 2 wickets each for ICS Yellows.

Chasing a reasonable target of 193 runs ICS Yellows scored the required runs in 24.1 overs.  Basit scored 59 runs in 51 balls helps and  Musadiq’s  24 runs of 10 balls helps for their team to achieved  the target remaining of 5 balls . Samiullah, Kamran  Junaid claimed one wicket each for ICS Green.

The second semi-final of the tournament will be played tomorrow between team ICS Oranges and ICS Whites. The tournament is being organised by the department of Physical Education Islamia College.
