Clashes have erupted between forces and youth in Trehgam area in Northern part of Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.
According to resources, people took to streets in Trehgam to demand the release of a local youth Gowhar Peer (22) .
Thereafter the government forces used tear gas shells to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes.
Several people were reportedly injured in the clashes, they said.
