Amid a heavy downpour lightening killed a civilian identified as Lateef Ahmad Poswal at Tangmarg in Aharbal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District, reports said.

Reports said that a pall of gloom descended on local population in Tangmarg village of Aharbal area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District when the death of Lateef Ahmad Poswal spread in the area immediately after the lightening.

Locals said the deceased was taken to Kulgam hospital where doctors declared him dead. The deceased is survived by his wife and three children.
