Government forces on Friday thrashed several residents and smashed the wind shields of several vehicles in Chatapora area of south Kashmir’sPulwama district, locals alleged.
Pertinently, youth clashed with forces in Pulwama town after that forces used tear gas to foil protests after Friday prayers.
Witnesses said that youth staged massive protests in the area soon after congregational prayers came to an end.
However, forces deployed in the area resorted to teargas shelling to disperse the protesters, triggering intense clashes. There isn’t report of any injury from either sides, witnesses said.
