The BJP is leading by huge margins in all the three civic bodies in the Delhi MCD elections 2017.

North Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and the East Delhi Municipal Corporation had voted on Sunday. While Aam Aadmi Party is headed for defeat, Ajay Maken of the Congress party announced that he is stepping down as the party’s chief in Delhi.

BJPs Delhi Chief Manoj Tiwari has credited (for MCD win) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While as Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Delhi Shiela Dixit blames Congress Delhi Chief Ajay Maken for the defeat.

“Maken should take Major part of the blame as Pradesh Congress Chief,” she told NDTV.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvinfd Kejriwal has blamed ‘faulty EVMs’ for the BJP lead in the polls.
