FHFC football club beats Lone Star

 

Amid a surcharged atmosphere spread across the Valley, a national level football match was played at Synthetic Turf Football stadium TRC here today.

 In the match, Fateh Hyderabad football club (FHFC) defeated the host team Lone Star Kashmir Football Club (LSKFC) by 1-0, in of the ongoing Indian Football League (I-League) 2nd division final round matches.

 FHFC scored their first goal during first half of the game. No team scored a single goal in the second half of match. In second half LSKFC got many chance to counter back but failed.

 The Ground is just 100 meters away from Sri Pratap Higher Secondary School where clashes continued between security forces and students throughout the day yesterday.

 “It was the bravery of the guest team Fateh Hyderabad Football Club to play in front of large number of spectators in current situation,” an official who was part of the organizers of the match told ‘Kashmir Vision’.

 Large number of spectators witnessed the matches who were cheering for both the teams, who showed the love and passion for football here.

“We can’t afford to miss a football match of this level that too when it was going to happen in Valley, we are very passionate about sports particularly football,” a spectator Rashid Dar said. Earlier these two teams have played a match of I-League at Hyderabad, which ended in a draw.
