A low-intensity earthquake hit Kishtwar district of Jammu division on Tuesday, a MeT official said.

He said that the quake struck at 10:42 am.

“Panic-struck people rushed out of their homes as the quake struck,” witnesses said.
However, no loss of life or damage to the property has been reported from anywhere.
