A day after a video went viral showing armymen ruthlessly beating up students at Pulwama Degree college, authorities on Sunday decided to close down the college for two days.
According to the District Magistrate Pulwama, Government Degree College (Boys) Pulwama will remain closed on April 17 and 18. It was informed that the step has been taken in view of certain unavoidable circumstances.
The students of the college are informed that no classes will be held on the aforementioned dates.
