Tral shuts on death anniversary of Burhan Wani’s brother

Srinagar: Tral township in South Kashmir observed a complete shutdown on the second death anniversary of Khalid Muzaffar Wani, who was the brother of slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani. 
Reports said that all the business establishments remained shut and roads wore a desolate  look as public transport remained off the roads.
Khalid who was pursuing Master’s degree in Political Science from the Indira Gandhi National Open University was killed on April 13 in 2015 allegedly by Army.
While army claimed that he was an over-ground worker of Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit and was killed in an encounter, his family said that he was “tortured to death”.
