Geelani stable: Hurriyat (G)

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani is stable and is being flown to New Delhi for check-up and medical tests, pro-freedom amalgam said Wednesday.
“Mr Geelani is stable. He would be shifted to New Delhi provided flights take off. He is also feeling weakness and that is second aspect to be viewed by us before taking him to New Delhi,” Aiyaz Akhbar, spokesman of the Hurriyat Conference (G) told Kashmir Reader.
The octogenarian leader is suffering from ‘chronic bronchitis’ and the unexpected change in weather has had adverse affect on his health, he said.
The spokesman appealed “pro-freedom” people to hold special prayers for Geelani’s speedy recovery.
