SRINAGAR: In order to ensure quickest, easiest home delivery of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG), the department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution is taking many a steps in collaboration with different Oil Companies, according to an official spokesperson.
A meeting in this regard was convened by the Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Kashmir, Bashir Ahmad Khan here Saturday, which was attended by representatives of various Oil Companies including Senior Regional Manager of HPCL.
The meeting discussed the measures to be taken for hassle free registration for booking of home delivery of LPG refills for the convenience of customer.
The meeting was informed that Hindustan Petroleum has launched ‘HP ANY TIME’ which will enable HP Customer to book refills and obtain confirmation round the clock.
The HP customers can book their LPG refills through Contact No. 9086023456. Customers can also SMS his refill booking on the above said number.
The Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution has asked other Valley based Oil and Gas Companies to take the similar steps and remodel their home delivery LPG booking system especially in rural and far flung areas.
Khan directed the Gas Companies to ensure proper weight age of the LPG’s cylinders against cash memos. He warned that anyone found selling underweight LPG cylinders would be strictly dealt with.
