SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police has constituted a team to track the persons behind rumor about police strike next month.
A statement issued by police spokesman said that “some anti-social and mischievous elements have uploaded a frivolous message on Whats app chat messenger and Facebook regarding police strike being observed on March 15.”
It said that police has taken cognizance of the mischief.
“An FIR number 17/2014 under section 505 RPC, 66 ‘A’ IT act has been lodged in Police Station Shergari and investigation has been taken up,” the statement said.
“A team has been constituted to crack the case immediately and arrest the culprit after tracking them,” it added.
