BARAMULLA: A welder fell down from the under construction government medical college (GMC) building in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Thursday afternoon and died on spot. Official sources said that a workers including labours and technical workers were working on the third floor of the GMC building when a welder among them lost his balance and down from the building, resulting his on spot death.
The deceased was identified as Sajad Ahmad Dar, 22 resident of Beerwah area of Budgam district.
Baramulla police register a case and investigation has been started.
