Sopore: A scooterist was killed while his pillon received serious injuries in a road accident in Achabal area of Rafiabad Baramulla under police district Sopore on Thursday.
Official sources said a Scooty bearing registration number JK02T-9369 and a tipper bearing registration number JK05B-0601 collide with eachother on Rafiabad Sopore road near Achabal, resulting the on spot death of scooterist while his pillon was seriously injured who was shifted to hospital for treatment.
The deceased was identified as Tariq Ahmad Khan son of Gulam Mohammad Khan while injured was identified as Nisar Ahmad Khan son Abdul Majeed Khan both residents of Binnar Baramulla.
Sopore police register a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation is on.
