Handwara: A young man was injured after being attacked by a black bear in north Kashmir’s Handwara sub division of district Kupwara on Sunday afternoon.
Official sources said that Saif-ud-Din Khattana son of Karim-ud-Din Khattana of Monbal Handwara was attacked by black bear when he was working in his field.
People working nearby chase the beast and shift the injured person to nearby hospital where he was shifted to a SMHS hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment, where he is said to be critical.
