Kupwara: Police on Thursday found body of a missing youth in the forests of Haihama in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Official sources in the police said that some local women of the area spotted a dead body at Baddi Rakh Jugtiyal forest area of Haihama Thursday morning when they had gone to collect wild mushrooms and they forward the information to their village,who informed the police. Later a team of police reached the spot and took the body in to their custody and shift to nearby hospital for identification and for other formalities.
In the afternoon the deceased was been identified as Bilal Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Ramzan Mir resident of Shalpora Drugmulla, the family sources said that he was missing from his home since March 22 and family also filled a missing report in police station Dragmulla after his missing.
Meanwhile, police register a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation is on.
