SRINAGAR: Workshop on Neonatal and Emergencies was held Saturday at Children’s Hospital here.
Among others, senior paediatricians of the Valley—Prof. R.S. Manhas, Dr. Altaf Hussain—and Faculty and Residents of SKIMS, Soura and Bemina, Government Medical College, Srinagar, Department of Paediatrics, L.D Neonatology besides paediatricians from all the districts of Kashmir division attended the workshop.
The first newsletter and publication pertaining to paediatrics was also released by Principal, GMC Srinagar, Prof. Rafiq Ahmad Pampori. On the occasion, the publication was dedicated to the children of Kashmir.
Two papers were presented on the occasion on the subject of Acute Kidney Injury in children and Tertiary care in Paediatric Emergencies, besides, a comprehensive workshop was held for the two important neonatal techniques regarding neonatal transport and neonatal resuscitation.
