Srinagar: Authorities have ordered disciplinary action against eight officials after they were found absent from duty in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
“Acting on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla , Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone, to ensure attendance of employees in government offices, a team of officers toady paid surprise visits to various departments and found eight officials absent from duty including DGM, JKPCC. The team recommended disciplinary action against the absentees,” an official spokesman said.
