Srinagar: The one-man commission probing  the killing of four persons  in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on September 7 last year allegedly at the hands of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Wednesday directed the paramilitary force’s counsel to appear before it along with witnesses on Thursday  so that their statements can be recorded.
Justice M L Koul who heads the one-man commission said that Additional SP Shopian stated before the Commission that an officer of the rank of DySP has been sent to Chandigarh to collect the FSL report and the mobile phones.
“The statement of one of the petitioners Ghulam Nabi Mir has been recorded and he does not want to lead anymore evidence on his behalf. The statements of three doctors have also been recorded,” Koul said.
