SRINAGAR: Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Thursday installed first disinfectant system for decontamination and sanitisation at CD Hospital Dalgate here to combat pandemic. “Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu visited CD Hospital to inspect and start off the installation of disinfectant system,” the statement said. With the operationalization of the system, it reads, people including doctors, hospital workers, patients and other attendants can get sanitised instantly while entering or leaving the hospital. “SMC has also taken various measures to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic by sanitising all the areas where from people were found to be positive for this deadly disease with a special recommended chemical including quarantine facilities and hospitals,” it added.
