Baramulla: An on duty traffic cop was killed in a road accident at Kanispora area of Baramulla in North Kashmir on Thursday.
Reports said that the traffic cop identified as Mohammad Dilawar was hit by a speedy sumo at Kanispora near JET college.
“He was rushed to District Hospital Baramulla where he succumbed to his injuries” reports said.
Meanwhile Police said that a case has been registered in this regard.
“The driver of the sumo vehicle has been arrested while vehicle has also been seized” police said.
