Srinagar: The strategic Jammu-Kashmir National Highway was closed for traffic following fresh landslides in Ramban district on Saturday.
“Due to fresh landsliding at Marog area , the highway was blocked and traffic came to halt” traffic officials said.
Pertinently, authorities had allowed one way traffic from Srinagar towards Jammu only.
Meanwhile men and machinery has been pressed into service to take up the clearance work.
