Srinagar: Government forces on Saturday started a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Watnard village of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The search operation was carried by a joint team of 19 RR of the army, 164 BN of CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police following intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were going on in the area when the last reports came in.
