Srinagar: Assistant Commissioner Food Safety, Srinagar today said that the court of Adjudicating officer (ADC Srinagar) imposed a fine of Rs 79, 000 on ten erring food business operators for violating various provisions of Food Safety Act.
The complaints against them were filed by Food Safety Officers of Drugs and Food Control Organization.
Meanwhile, the Food Safety wing of Drugs and Food Control Organization has started a seven-day drive to identify unregistered food business operators. It was said that challans against the violators shall be presented in competent courts soon.
