UDHAMPUR: District Udhampur Wushu Championship concludedon Monday at the Indoor Hall of Subhash Stadium with great enthusiasm and participation from across the district. Championship was Organised by District Udhampur Wushu Association
The event was formally inaugurated by Ashok Kumar, former Director Sports SMVDSB,who showered his blessings and encouraged all the participants to perform with dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Kumar, who was the Chief Guest, highlighted the importance of youth participation in sports and appreciated the initiative under the banner of District Udhampur Wushu Association promoting grassroots talent.
More than 250 players from District Udhampur are participating in the championship, showcasing remarkable enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
On the occasion, Vijay Kumar President Udhampur Wushu Association, Sahil Manhas, Yashpal (National Referee), Sonia Verma, and Ranjeet Verma were present to grace the event.
The league aims to provide a competitive platform to young women athletes and to identify emerging talent at the grassroots level.
