Srinagar: Police on Tuesday arrested administrator of a Whatsapp group – Kashmir ‘Baneyga Darul Salam’ – from Srinagar airport.
Junaid Parray of Noorbagh locality of Srinagar was wanted in many law and order cases, police said.
“Today one of the most wanted WhatsApp administrators was arrested from Airport area. He is wanted in many law and order incidents,” police said.
Police said Parray was also an admin of Whatsapp groups “Noorbagh Rebels” and “Rizwan News 24”.
“He was avoiding arrest since one month but today one special police party of MR Gunj police Sub-Division arrested him at the airport,” police said. Parray was picked up from his walnut furniture shop in the airport area.
