Anantnag: Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation in Hassanpora village of Bijbehara in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
Troops of Rashtriya Rifles, 90th batalion of Center Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operational Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police jointly carried out searches in Hassanpora village this morning.
According to the reports, heavy forces have been deployed in the area and search operation was going on when this report was filed.
Police could not be contacted immediately due to the network conjunction in the area. (Kashmir Wire )
