SRINAGAR: J&K Police organised a debate competition at GHSS Gingel under the supervision of SDPO Uri to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, honouring his monumental contribution to national unity, integrity, and nation-building.
The event served as a tribute to Patel’s enduring legacy and reflected the collective respect and support for the values he championed, a police spokesperson said in a statement.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff. Pakeeza Bashir from Noor-ul-Uloom School Noorkha secured the first position, while Arizoo Karim from the same school secured the second position. Sehraan Sadiq from GHSS Gingel clinched the third position.
All participants were awarded participation certificates, and the top three performers were felicitated with mementos, certificates, and cash prizes in recognition of their excellent performance.
J&K Police expressed appreciation to the school administration, students, and staff for their active involvement in making the event meaningful and successful.
