Naamdaars will obviously abuse kaamdaar: PM on ‘dance for vote’ remark

Must read

NEW DELHI: Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi-Tejashwi Yadav duo, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday claimed the “naamdaar” (dynast) will onviously abuse the “kaamdaar” (one who works).

His remarks come in the wake of Gandhi’s “dance for vote” remarks against him.“Those who are naamdaars will obviously abuse a kaamdaar. They cannot digest their food without it. Abusing Dalits and backward classes is something these naamdaars consider their birthright. They can’t tolerate that a person from a poor, backward family, who once sold tea, has reached this position today,” Modi said, reviving his ‘naamdaar (dynast) vs kaamdaar (one who works)’ jibe.”Launching a tirade against Rahul and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, Modi said that the ‘duo of Yuvrajs (princes)’ has opened a shop of false promises.“One is the prince of India’s most corrupt family, and the other is the prince of Bihar’s most corrupt family. Both are out on bail in scams worth thousands of crores,” PM Modi said addressing an election rally in Muzaffarpur. His remarks were a direct response to the remarks Rahul Gandhi made during his rally in Muzaffarpur on Wednesday.Taking a jibe at Modi, Rahul said the PM can even perform Bharatnatyam on stage for votes.“He just wants your vote. If 200 people from the crowd ask PM Modi to dance on stage in return for votes, the dance would begin. PM Modi will start performing Bharatnatyam on stage,” he said. The Leader of the Opposition also raised the issue of “vote chori”, accusing the BJP of stealing votes in Maharashtra and Haryana. “They will try their best in Bihar,” he warned the people of the state.
