SBI hosts ‘Startup Connect 2025’ to empower India’s innovation ecosystem

NEW DELHI: State Bank of India (SBI) successfully hosted its flagship Startup Connect 2025 program at Hotel Taj City Center, Gurugram, bringing together over 80 startups, investors, incubators, and industry leaders. The event served as a vibrant platform to foster collaboration, access to capital, mentorship, and strategic partnerships.
Key dignitaries included Sh. Debasish Mishra (CGM, New Delhi Circle), Dr. Nikhil Agarwal (MD, FITT IIT Delhi), Mr Aditya Prasad (IIML EIC), and other prominent investors and entrepreneurs. Shri Mishra emphasized SBI’s commitment to startups through tailored financial products, advisory services, and digital solutions like the YONO platform. He also highlighted collateral-free loan schemes under CGTMSE and CGSS, supporting MSMEs and startups up to ₹10 crore.
The program featured live startup demos, panel discussions on AI, banking, legal frameworks, and investment strategies, along with dynamic networking sessions. A fireside chat explored perspectives from bankers, investors, incubators, and founders. SBI also showcased its 200-year legacy and distributed sanction letters to 10 promising startups.
SBI Startup Connect 2025 reaffirmed the bank’s role as a catalyst in India’s entrepreneurial journey, reinforcing its vision to support innovation and global competitiveness.
