Kulgam police has arrested two drug peddler in Qazigund and recovered 15 kilograms of poppy straw from their possession.
A police party of Police Station Qazigund headed by SHO Police Station Qazigund during naka checking near Zig Jawahar Tunnel intercepted a Tata Indica vehicle bearing registration number PB 10BY-4302. During search 15 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered from the vehicle. Two persons namely Jarnal Singh son of Prakesh Singh and Darshad Singh son of Nishaster Singh, residents of Ludhiana were arrested.
A case FIR number 255/2017 under section 8/15 NDPS of Police Station Qazigund stands registered and investigation was taken up.
