A policeman was injured after his service rifle went off accidentally at police training school Manigam in Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
According to the reports, a bullet hit left foot of head constable Farooq Ahmad, belt no 10/PTS, when he was cleaning his service rifle and it went off accidentally.
The cop was posted at Police training school Manigam
Meanwhile, Ahmad was rushed to SDH Kangan where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
