At least six school children were injured after a van carrying them collided with another vehicle on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway Wednesday.
The incident occurred around early morning today in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. The van carrying students of KV school, Chenani, from Batote collided head-on with another vehicle at Bagu Nallah in Batote, a police officer said.
The injured including the driver and the students were rushed to Community Health Centre Batote for treatment, he added.
The children were given first-aid and handed over to their parents. The driver has been shifted to GMC hospital in Jammu for further treatment.
