The PSAJK District executive Body, along with Zonal Heads, and general members acknowledges and welcomes this bold move, which has brought much-needed relief to students and parents, the statement said, adding that the intervention has not only protected the academic rights of the affected students but has also reinforced trust in the government’s student-centric approach to governance.
Bilal said, “We hope that all our pending issues, which we have faced from time to time, will be resolved at the earliest. Our demands and expectations from this government, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, are very high. We trust that his administration will continue to address the challenges faced by private educational institutions and work towards policy reforms that ensure smooth and efficient operations.”
He said PSAJK expresses its sincere gratitude to the J&K Government for prioritizing educational reforms and demonstrating a commitment to fair policies for private schools. We also appreciate the intervention of the Srinagar Court, which has played a crucial role in ensuring justice in this matter, he said.
The Association has congratulated PSAJK State President Dr. G.N Var for his swift and effective role in resolving the issue in a short period. “His efforts exemplify the dedication of PSAJK towards safeguarding the interests of students and ensuring quality education in the region,” it said.
“Private schools in Jammu and Kashmir play a vital role in providing affordable, high-quality education, especially to economically weaker sections of society. Additionally, they generate employment opportunities for thousands of youth across the region. Ensuring a fair and conducive environment for private educational institutions will not only benefit students but also contribute to the overall socio-economic growth of Jammu and Kashmir,” the Association said.
