Gunshots were heard soon after the government forces launched a Cordon and search operation at Karloo Kanelwan area of Bijbehara Tehsil in south Kashmir Anantnag district after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
A joint team of SOG, 3 RR and CRPF launched the search operation at Karloo Kanelwan area of Bijbehara.
Preliminary reports suggest that at least two militants are believed to be trapped.
