SRINAGAR: Fresh snowfall at Razdan Pass has led to the suspension of traffic on the Gurez-Bandipora road as a precautionary measure, according to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gurez.
The decision was taken to ensure the safety of travellers amid deteriorating weather conditions.
Officials said that Razdan Pass witnessed fresh snow accumulation making the road unsafe for travel.The suspension will remain in place untill further orders to ensure public safety.
