A policeman was killed after he was hit by a bullet in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
According to the reports, militants fired upon policeman identified as Gowher Ahmad Tantray, son of Nazir Ahmad Tantray of Kujar Kulgam posted at SOG camp in Shopian.
As per reports Gowher was riding his motor bike when a group of three militants fired upon him near Kangikulla bridge. He was on the way to his home from Shopian.
He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
