District volleyball association Srinagar in collaboration with University of Kashmir under the aegis of volleyball association of J&K organised district championship for boys and girls.
In boys section Srinagar club beat Nishat club by 2-0 and in girls university of Kashmir beat Srinagar club by 2-1.
On inaugural function CEO Volleyball association of J&K was the chief of guest at the occasion. Tausif, Assistant Director, Physical Education and Sports were guest of honour.
Other dignitaries who graced the event were Mohd Tariq, Executive Member, volleyball association J&K, Azhar Raina volleyball coach and Qaiser iqbal.
In the championship 12 girl teams and 24 boys teams are going to participate.
