Government forces on Monday night allegedly damaged private property in Tarigam village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district after coming under stone pelting.
As per sources there was cordon and search operation in one part of the village and after the cordon was concluded peacefully, youth h it the steets and started pelting stones on the vehicles of government forces, who retaliated with tear smoke shells and aerial firing.
Sources added that after forces succeeded in dispersing the protestors went back and damaged windowpanes of many houses.
