GANDERBAL: Hundreds of men and women enthusiastically participated in the 2nd Annual Rahmatal-lil-Alameen Conference at Daruloom Hanfia Kamaliya, Gund Ganderbal, on Sunday. Islamic speakers at the conference emphasized the significance of establishing a Darul Uloom in the Gund area as a vital step towards spreading the message of Islam. They highlighted the aim of the initiative to promote Islamic values and encourage youth to read and understand their faith.
Speakers underscored the necessity of moral and Islamic education to uplift the new generation. Maulana Showkat Ahmad Qadri, addressing the gathering, stressed that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) clearly defined the rights of women, children, orphans, minorities, and even slaves. He noted that adherence to the Prophet’s teachings is essential for achieving success in both this world and the hereafter.
Maulana Qadri further emphasized the importance of introducing children to the great teachings of the Prophet (PBUH), asserting that guiding future generations along this path is crucial for the establishment of an Islamic welfare society. He commended the Intizamia Committee of Darul Uloom Kamaliya for organizing the Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Conference.
The ceremony was also attended by Chairman Haji Ghulam Qadir Akhoon, Maulana Bilal Ahmad Kumar, Maulana Ab Qayoom Aattari, and other local Islamic speakers.
