Will make Sopore Fruit Mandi a grand success, say members

The Kashmir Fruit Growers and Dealers Association of Sopore Fruit Mandi, on Monday, held a meeting at the Fruit Mandi office Mazbugh. The meeting was attended by many fruit growers and dealers.

During the meeting all the members came together and decided to work together for the betterment of the Sopore Fruit Mandi.

The fruit mandi was established in 1988 on 372 kanals of land and is considered biggest fruit mandi in India. This mandi every year makes a business of around Rs 2600 crore. The fruit growers and dealers said that they would to do everything possible to make the mandi a better platform for business purpose.

The members, who attended the meeting, included president of KFGDA Mushtaq Ahmed Tantary, vice president Ghulam Mohammad Mir, general secretary Ghulam Mohammad Malik, chairman Farooq Ahmed and other members.

President of the Kashmir Fruit Growers and Dealers Association of Fruit Mandi Sopore, Mushtaq Ahmed Tantary said, “This is a noble step for all the associated members to come forward and work together for the betterment of the mandi. My priority is to work with brotherhood and to make this mandi a grand success for business.”
