ANANTNAG: In observance of “Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption” during Vigilance Awareness Week, Police in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Bureau, organized a seminar at District Police Lines (DPL) Anantnag. The event aimed to raise awareness among Police personnel about the pervasive issue of corruption and its detrimental effects on society.
Officers from the Anti-Corruption Bureau J&K shared their insights and experiences, stressing the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in public service. They urged participating officers/officials to remain vigilant and committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and conduct. During the seminar, participating officers/ officials were made aware about various provisions, rules regulations and government orders in place for curbing this menace of corruption.
The seminar concluded with a resolution ceremony, where police personnel pledged to combat corruption in all its forms and uphold the values of honesty, integrity, and dedication to duty.
