Two people were injured when a popular tree was uprooted by the windstorm and fell on a vehicle bearing registration number JK01W/5846 in Awantipora today morning.
According to the reports, Srinagar-Jammu highway was blocked at Awantipora near Jammu and Kashmir bank branch, when a windstorm uprooted a popular tree that hit a Santro car.
The injured were shifted to Awantipora hospital and their condition is said to be stable.
The road was cleared by the authorities when this report was filed.
