A sit-in protest was held by the traders in Lal Chowk Anantnag today against the excess of forces , reports said.
The traders, in response to the forces’ action on protesters yesterday,are observing a sit in protest today.
Pertinently, complete shutdown was observed in Anantnag yesterday against the killing of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Sabzar Ahmad Bhat and his associate Faizan Ahmad in a gunfight last weekend.
Youth took to streets and pelted stones in Reshi Bazar and Lal Chowk areas of the town, forces retaliated with tear gas shells, trigerring clashes.
