PAMPORE: Inam Nazir Naikoo from Beighpora, Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, has achieved a significant milestone by winning the gold medal at the first National Sarit Sarak Championship.
The championship was recently held in Delhi and organized by the Sarit Sarak Federation of India.
Over 500 players from across the country, like Delhi, Kerala, Assam, Maharashtra, Manipur, Assam, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Tripura participated in the first National Sarit Sarak championship. The high level of competition made his victory even more commendable, Inam told Kashmir Reader.
Inam, a 10th-grade student at Umer Memorial Institute Awantipora, has brought immense pride to his family and his locality with this remarkable achievement. His success not only highlights his personal talent and dedication but also shines a spotlight on the potential of young individuals from Kashmir.
