SRINAGAR: In an effort to foster industrial growth in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Director of Industries and Commerce Kashmir, Khalid Majid, emphasized the need for renewed trust and confidence between Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the government.
Addressing an oath ceremony organized by the Industrialists Association Khunmoh, Majid highlighted the importance of cooperation to revolutionize industrial development under newly launched ambitious schemes and policies.
Majid, speaking as the chief guest at the ceremony, assured attendees that the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor was closely monitoring industrial progress and was committed to eliminating unnecessary hurdles faced by MSMEs. He emphasized the importance of industry-friendly procedures under the “ease of doing business” guidelines and assured that difficulties encountered by entrepreneurs would be addressed.
Acknowledging the importance of feedback from industry leaders, Majid stated that appropriate recommendations were being made based on the demands put forth by the Federation of Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK). He encouraged cooperation from constituent associations in collecting data required for existing and upcoming schemes.
