Bandipora: J&K Teachers Forum Bandipora organized a felicitation event at the Zonal Education Officer Sumbal to honour and welcome the newly appointed Deputy Chief Education Officer (Dy CEO) Bandipora, Dr GM Puju. The event took place on Tuesday and saw the presence of esteemed members of the teaching community.
Chief Spokesperson of JKTF, Mir Bashir Ahmad, expressed heartfelt congratulations to Dr GM Puju on his recent appointment and extended a warm welcome for his new assignment. Emphasizing the crucial role of teachers in nation-building, Mir Bashir highlighted their ability to shape leaders and contribute to the development of a healthy society on both local and global scales.
Bashir conveyed the high expectations the teacher community holds for Dr GM Puju, anticipating that he will address their genuine concerns on a priority basis. During the event, he assured the teachers that the leadership was committed to eradicating corruption and favouritism, advocating for transparency in all aspects.
Addressing the gathering, the Dy CEO urged all teachers to harness their abilities to contribute to a brighter future for society. He called upon the authorities to consider merit while conferring awards and recognitions to teachers. Dr Pujju assured leadership that he will make all efforts to work on developmental gaps in all zones of the district and sought forum cooperation to achieve the goal.
