Srinagar: Chinar Corps organized a special function to honour the Women Achievers of Kashmir. Manoj Sinha, LG of UT of J&K was the Chief Guest who gave away the certificates & medallions to the achievers in a solemn ceremony at BadamiBagh Cantonment, Srinagar in attendance of Chinar Corps Cdr and other senior military officials.
The objective of this function was to honour the women who have contributed to the prosperity of Kashmir and have displayed the true attributes of ‘Nari Shakti’. The event was witnessed by civilian dignitaries, senior army officials and ladies along with NCC Cadets and school going children.
Manoj Sinha, LG of J&K addressed the gathering and thanked the Women Achievers for their positive contribution and highlighted the importance of women participation in development of the Nation as a whole, and also stressed the need to support and encourage their contribution in Nation building.
The ceremony marked a Stepping Stone in recognition of women talent and was an inspiration to empower them for ‘Badalta Kashmir’ and ‘Naya Bharat’.
