Hajin: Community Health Centre Hajin in collaboration with GMC Baramulla on Thursday organised a free medical camp at Hajin.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Chairman MC Hajin Irshad Ahmad Wani along with Chief Medical Officer Bandipora Dr.Rafi Ahmad Salati.
BMO Hajin Dr Idrees Ahmad, Chairman Auqaf Islamia Hajin Al Haj Ghulam Nabi Dar and other senior doctors were present on the occasion.
CMO Bandipora Dr Rafi Ahmad Salati while talking to reporters said that it is necessary to organize health camps to connect the general public with health services and to reach the beneficiaries about the beneficial schemes of the health department.
He urged people to be health conscious and get their tests done in time and get treatment. Better health is our greatest asset, he said, adding that the people were also given awareness regarding the civil registration system scheme and many other government schemes related to better health care.
He said that by organizing such events, the general public would be able to get information about the facilities available in the health department and they would be able to take advantage of them.
BMO Hajin Dr Idrees said, “We will organise such camps in future as well.”
Meanwhile, the CMO Bandipora and Chairman MC Hajin Irshad Ahmad handed over golden cards, and Abha cards among the beneficiaries on the occasion.
While speaking to reporters MC Chairman Irshad Ahmad Wani thanked the Department of Health particularly CMO Bandipora, BMO Hajin for organising such events for the betterment of common people.
