Bandipora: The 3 Batallion of CRPF, under the Civic Action Programme (CAP), organised a free medical camp in Lankershipora, Bandipora on Tuesday.
The medical camp was inaugurated by elderly senior citizen Haji Abdul Gani Khan in the presence of Rakesh Sharma, Commandant 3 Bn and other officers of CRPF and the elected DDC and BDC members of Panchayat.
The CAP for medical benefit was also assisted by the civil hospital and Dr. Rayaz Ahmed. District Hospital Bandipora, Dr Ajaz Mir PHC Astango, Rayaz Ahmad Zulfi CMO office Bandipora, Dr. Heena also participated in extending medical treatment to the local populace.
The programme included free medical checkup and the distribution of medicines for serious illness and changing weather. A large number of ailing people, especially old aged senior citizens of these villages including ladies benefited from the free medical consultation and treatment.
More than 325 villagers benefited during the programme.
